Tiffany Shedd Calls On Democratic Opponents To Denounce Kirsten Engels Statements On Border Crisis
ELOY, AZ – Tiffany Shedd, a Republican candidate for Arizona Attorney General, called on her Democratic opponents Kris Mayes and Diego Rodriguez to denounce Democratic Congressional candidate Kirsten Engel’s recent statement that there is no border crisis.
“Illegal immigration is at a twenty year high and border arrests are at their highest level since 1986,” said Shedd. “For Kirsten Engel to say there is no crisis at the border is not just factually wrong, it is dangerous.”
“Our border ranchers are living this crisis everyday and many have lost friends and loved ones to violence committed by illegals and Mexican drug cartels. It is a slap in the face to the victims of this border crisis to say what they are experiencing is not real.”
“Arizonans deserve an Attorney General who will acknowledge reality, protect Arizonans, and secure our border. I am calling for my Democratic opponents Kris Mayes and Diego Rodriguez to immediately denounce Kirsten Engel’s dangerous misrepresentation of the crisis at our southern border.”
Tiffany Shedd is a Republican candidate for Arizona Attorney General who lives on a major trafficking route in Pinal County. Tiffany has experienced first-hand the consequences of the failure to secure our border and relies on the 2nd Amendment to protect herself and her family. To date, five Arizona border ranchers – John Ladd, Dan Bell, Peggy Davis, Steve Boice, and Gary Thrasher – have endorsed Tiffany’s campaign citing her commitment to securing Arizona’s border. She is the only candidate for Attorney General who has been endorsed by ranchers who live and work along the U.S. – Mexico border.
